Develop Quiz

Last night was the infamous Develop Quiz. Teams from various different UK games companies gathered at the Sway Bar in Holborn to try and prove their skills at general knowledge, gaming knowledge, reverse music knowledge and how to survive an elevator crash. All the teams apart from two were representing one company with the company name as their team name (how boring). We went for a more indie approach and had two teams made up of people from various different places and with some much more interesting team names. Team Spotlight: Matt Floyd

Who are you and what do you do at IndieSkies?
I'm one of the artists and predominantly I've been making characters if that's something. Yeah, just one of the artists.

What got you interested in art?
I think it's always just been there throughout my life. I used to do graphics at school now I do 3d. To be honest I think it's because I wasn't great at the 2D side so I took to 3D.

20 Games Release

After a month of tense peer reviewing and bug fixing, 20 Games was finally released on Xbox LIVE Indie Games!

Months of development refined by numerous players at events has finally resulted in some awesome party fun. So what are you waiting for? Grab some mates, some beers and a copy of 20 Games!

COR3 Release

Our platform puzzler, COR3, was released this week and is available to download from the app store.

Also this weekend, Paradise Golf is free! So while you're on the app store checking out our latest title, you can get our debut too!

Team Spotlight: Theo Chin

Who are you and what do you do at IndieSkies?
This is really difficult to answer seriously. But I will. I am Theo Chin and I program stuff. Specifically C# and the bit of the website that you see. I am responsible for some of 20 Games.

What got you interested in programming?
Well I think I sort of realised I liked programming in school when I was doing Flash. Between ActionScript and RPG Maker I did a lot scripting despite the fact I was convinced I wanted to be an animator. In Flash.
